Haltech Battery Jump Start

Although Haltech explicitly states to disconnect the ECU, we've done it several times without damage.
Yeah, even with a reverse polarity on the battery, the Haltech ECU was still fine.
Although I do not recommend it, the Haltech ECU internals must have pretty good protection against spikes and reverse polarity.

As long as you use the jumper leads with the spike protection thing on them, juts like any other ECU it will be fine.
If you have the mind of a 6 year old, and somehow know what happens when you jump start a car with reversed polarity, sell up, and move to a small island where there is not power, or batterys so you cant damage anything.
Jump starting any car with reverse polarity cabling will in fact damage most stuff in the car. please people. dont listen to clowns that tell you otherwise.
