Battery is fully charged, but only reads 2V at ECU
I have been chasing down an issue with my car since I installed the haltech a few weeks ago. First it would start cutting out when it was fully warmed up and heat soaked. I checked the logs and the battery voltage was steadily dropping as the coolant temps went up. I pulled apart the harness and resoldered some wire connections on the battery voltage wire. After is this, it almost seemed to get worse. Today I replaced the ECU grounds and moved them to a better location. Now its even worse. What is going on? Does anyone have any ideas? I'm running out of stuff to check. Also, I have another voltage guage, and the battery gets a constant 14V. The ECU battery wire is connected directly to the battery terminal via a soldered connection.
