Anyone care to take a look at my map??

I got the car running last nite. I must say Im way over my head with this tuning thing.. LOL

Never could get the CAS to set up using the factory method. Went to HITman's site, done what he said and it fired up first thing... I owe ya man... The timing is even near perfect.. HITman you accept pay pal donations? LOL

Now the car will start up fine when cold, and runs fine for about 45 secs to a 1 minute. When it starts to get warm. I get a lopey idle, 300-1000 up and down etc.

Also the TPS seems very very touchy. I recalibrated it 2 times, and shows perfect on the engine data page. But I can get it to about 3k by barely moving it. I guess thats hows its suppose to be.

Also when reving it up it stumbles a little... I hit the gas kinda hard and took it up to about 3k.. Aint going over 3k until I get it figured out. Am I being safe or just being a chicken?

By the way the boost is turned all the way down. Want to get this straight before jumping onto the boost.

Any suggestions would be very appreciative. Heres the map. And thanks for your time.

Well I just did my 1st install and first fire up over the weekend

My car was not running very good at ALL!
Untill I did Matt's Igition setup

Put a bit of yellow paint on the pully
Line up the 2 pointers to the black cap screws
put lock with -5

turn on car moved cas till yellow marker
was even with the timming needle

Hit unlock and the car is AWESOME!
I did notice the coil wires are sensitive and sometimes
the RPM guage would be erratic and then the car would stumble

I reclamped the wires and it's back to near perfect

Check your timming
Check your wires -make sure there getting good contact
Get a Good Base Map
Double check the timming with a "Light"
I used Matt's base Map
Much better then the Supplied disk MaP
I did change the angle from 70 to 65 and there it seems to run better......

Im sorry for the crappy post earlier, I had just came in from the garage had a water leak at the heater core, and a leaky oil pan gasket I was pretty pissed..

I got to spend labor day on the car, and i got it purring like a kitten now... I had some help via AIM from a very nice guy by the name of Brian...

I still have the timing lock turned on, and set at -5. Rins really nice, but when I turn it off, it wants to advace a lot at idle is that normal?

depends on what the ignition map value is at that rpm. probably set around 20* BTDC, check the values in the lookup tables.

Looks like 20, is that right? Seems to run better with it timing lock on..
