Ancient EMS (E6K) Help. Yep, I've searched.

Hola,

Before I get started, let me give a little background - I am a seasoned forum user and have done every bit of work on my car, with the help of a few friends here and there, of course. So, please hold back the "use the search function" and such comments. Many of the links on this forum are dead, so even finding a useful thread often ends in a "this page cannot be found" or some similar message.

Thank you in advance for any input!

I have been battling an issue with my 7 for awhile now. I installed a Haltech E6K in 2013 and had help from Claudio T. via chat, etc. The car ran for awhile then ended up needing a rebuild (stuck side seal). Got it all back together then had to store it for awhile.

Once I got it on the road, things seemed to be moving along nicely. I used a base map to get it started and was street tuning to get it close before taking it to the pros over at RRR Dyno Tuning here in Los Angeles. Had my brother in the car on the laptop and we'd drive for a short distance, pull over, make adjustments, then cruise again. I was only tuning for low range, because the engine is still being broken in; rev limiter set at 3,500rpm for now. It's only got 26 miles on it so far, so you can understand my frustration. We pulled over, he made a fuel correction (and may have accidentally gone to another menu) then the car died. Started it back up and it's been running like **** since then.

The trailing coils/plugs are not firing.

-I have verified that the wiring is correct using a PDF from Hitman.

-The Aux Out is configured as IGN Toggle.

-2.9-3v showing on the Aux Out wire at the coil pack (GB -- BrY -- W)

-12v showing on the Lg wires at the coil pack

-Grounds checked, double checked and then reinforced (wire from shock tower to coil pack frame)

-Checked using timing light and by the old-fashioned spark plug to ground

-Compression verified; engine is still healthy

PLEASE HELP!! I uploaded a copy of my map as a txt file, so if someone wants to look at it for me, I'd appreciate it. (You just rename it "" .6km)

Thanks for your time.
