Haltech am i ready to install e6k
am i ready to install e6k
alright, i have an e6k with harness for my 88 tii.
im running stock turbo, tmic, deleted emissions, ac and power steering
i want to run the stock s4 tps for now. I have a 3 bar map sensor. I have stock coils. i would like to run 10psi for now, i have rc 1200cc secondaries that ill turn down and tune in as well. I have an Lc-1 wideband kit also.
is there anything else i should need, or be worried about? i dont have a boost controller, but i figure a manual one will work for a bit till i can pick up a prefec.
thanks guys.

You can do all of this with the E6k. Do you not have the haltech TPS? Contrary to popular belief, you CAN run the S4 TPS. I have done it, but you need 1 tiny piece from an S5 throttle body (why many say you need the S5 TB to begin with). You'll need the little crescent cam and you'll need to modify the TPS mounting bracket a little. See the pic!

the E6K only uses the TPS for zero throttle, so decel fuel cut, and the zero throttle map, and the accel pump, so the stock S4 TPS is fine.
if you're not using decel fuel cut, or the zero throttle map, then you really don't need the TPS at all on a turbo car
E6K is primitive!
