1V O2 sensor settings question

Ive just installed a factory 3 wire 02 sensor from a R33 GTS nissan syline ( 2L 6cyl) and wired it up etc.
Ive got my e6x set to 1 volt etc, are all 1V sensors the same? what settings should I have this set to, also will it work to adjust my idle so that i can have a nice mixture so it aint running to rich?
Thanks guys

I usually run 12:1 at idle to keep it smooth, unless the idle speed is high then you can run a bit leaner. May be ok for cruise, narrowband usually all fluctuate around lambda1(14.7:1) so would be good for cruise trim.

so i need to find out what voltage the sensor is putting out at lambda and then set the ecu to adjust to that above idle speed?? any ideas where i would find this info? or is it auto adjust?

It will fluctuate between around 0.2V and 0.8V in a sine wave type signal, I haven't used narrowband on an aftermarket ECU myself, so can't recommend settings. Most sensors of that type are the same, set it to 0-1V narrowband and see what options it gives and and see what happens
I would set it to correct above idle and a range of vacuum that you will be in when cruising at light load (ie motorway or open road type running).

I personally don't bother with closed loop, but I tend to do a bit of highway tuning to lean it out in that area anyway which achieves the same thing. Where abouts in NZ are you?

If it's running rich enough that you know it's running rich without a wideband then closed loop idle control isn't going to solve your problem. You need the base tune to be within <5% for closed loop to work well. That's not very much margin.

IMO, stop wasting time with a narrow band sensor. You need the wideband to properly calibrate the ECU anyway.

Oh yeah, what Ludwig said, I shouldn't assume you already have it tuned?

No, you assumed right, It has been tuned, just a couple of weeks ago, had a S5 hybrid to4b vtrim turbo, but the wastegate arm snapped at the weld and it wouldnt go past 9psi, so i cant imagine that it was sealing all to well either. still, we got 215kw at the wheels. Now ive got the T60-1 5 hybrid bolted up, and the necessary parts to fit the IC piping and the boost controller hopefully, just found a leaking heater hose so need to fix thaty tonight, hopefully i will have it back on the dyno tomorrow or sat and aim for an extra 100kw at 18-20psi
