Several months ago, I offered to take it too. Same silence. I've been watching this for a long time. Given the way it's been handled, it would be tough for me to fork over money to this guy even if he does finish it. I just don't want my money to disappear with along this dude. It's a shame, because it was going to be such a great product. I'll probably just do a one off of my own when I get back to my car.

I am collecting the equipment to develop something similar but improved. I am working on an enclosed design.

 

What's your eta?

^^ LOL. I waited almost 4 months for Shine to make me Feed side skirts. I'm used to waiting on rx7 parts.

I don't drive the car at night all that much so it's not a big deal. I forgot I even posted in here

 

Dude I lost hope (acceptance) when we hit year five on this item... IIRC this started around 2009 (not under superdan but still)

 

^ FYI, that was me that did this in 2009 but not as a potential commercial product. It was for my car. Still rocking the lights and they are working great.

Now for the good news - another forum member has taken over the project and he's very reliable. Thing you'll see a product from him shortly.

 

As for Dan, he has family issues to take care of and those are greater than this project. Lights are nice but family comes first.

I've said in the past: Dan is a cool guy and family comes first. However, I think we can all agree that one needs to know when the plate is already full

I"m almost certain I'll be married with kids before this comes to fruition. Maybe even grand kids

 

This will be released when Mazda releases an updated RX-7.
