I ordered the rear trunk mount this past weekend with quick release. I forgot to enter the promo code . I can't wait to get it and hopefully they give me the discount anyways.

 

On the product page the options are...
- Red Lanyard
- Black Lanyard
- Quick Release Pin (+$23)

What is the quick release pin option? I thought the whole idea of this accessory was that it was quick release.

 

Ah, missed that. Also would like clarity. Luckily QR pins are easy to come by...

 

That is a pushbutton aircraft pin, vs a simple pull pin. The aircraft version is no longer available, and should be discontinued on the website.. I'll edit that product page now.

Just wanted to post my results here, love the seat mount! I used a different fire extinguisher from Amazon though.

Installed the rear quick release. Much nicer aesthetics. The tolerance is pretty tight on the QR pin. Recommend working it back and forth a little and adding some dry lubricant, to make it easier to get loose. I bent my lanyard ring trying to yank it out. No biggie.






Getting set to install the passenger seat mount, too. But, what is this extra piece for? I didn't see it called out in the instructions here: https://www.sakebombgarage.com/conte...%20Install.pdf

Hey! That's actually included with the rear seat mount, you accidentally received that with your kit. It's not needed for you bracket.

 

Will there be a group buy in the future or is it still going for 2019?
