SakeBomb Garage: Fire Extinguisher Mount (Seat and Trunk Mounts) - Make Again?

These are out of stock currently (both front and rear, as well as the quick release assemblies). If we do another production run of these, we will be adding mounting holes for the brackets that come along with every H3R Extinguisher and running another Group Buy on them (if there's interest to bring these back for another production run). With the age of the FD's now, and how prone they are to engine fires from a leaking fuel line, faulty FPR/FPD, or for any modified car... we always recommend our customers carry an Extinguisher in the car, preferably a clean-agent extinguisher.

Brackets with hardware would be $100-150 (guestimate)... If we do the quick release assemblies expect those to be in the 150 or higher range as they are actually very tough to machine, and a lot of pieces (we may just scrap the quick release assembly all together and simply suggest customers use the included bracket with the H3R extinguishers (Halon, Halotron, Dry Chem) which we typically have in stock.

-User Name
-Seat Mount or Trunk Mount
-Quick Release or "H3R Clamp"
-Extinguisher included or purchase separately? (Rough pricing - $100 dry chem, $150 Halotron, $200 Halon)

If you're pretty sure you don't need one, please let us know the name of your insurance agent... they must be really good, and we'd like a quote for full coverage

I was just looking at these on your site - I definitely want one, & I'm interested in knowing more about how the trunk mount is installed (any holes drilled/plastics modified etc.) If there's no chopping up req'd, I'm 100% in for a trunk mount, otherwise seat mount.

Quick release, seat mount, red pull.

I have one I made that uses the mount/release that comes on the extinguisher and it isn't safe with the bottle in the horizontal position and in a car as the spring clamp catch comes undone sometimes racing (scrap the idea of relying on this SakeBomb).

Good quality product here guys. Pretty easy to install, probably took me about 20 minutes. Would have been easier with the quick disconnect but they were out of stock when I bought mine, so I had to drill my own holes in a small custom bracket but it fits in there real nice and tight. Passengers have no complaints at all about the leg comfort in case anyone is wondering.

Just throwing this out there but if there’s anyone in Florida who receives a red but wants a chrome bottle, I’ll trade you. I got a chrome cause again that’s all they had and I was paranoid about my car burning up since I just redid the lines, so I jumped on it. I would prefer a red one though, so if anyone wants to swap, let me know.
