I got excited about the rear hatch mount, since that is where my extinguisher flops around now, but decided I liked the seat mount version for ease of access once I ordered one and thought about it. Looking forward to this!

 

really cool item.I like the seat set up but I have spirit r seats so I'm glad SBGARAGE came out with this new design.

The spirit R seat uses bottom mount holes just like our OEM mount so it could fit. I believe we have a spirit R seat laying around somewhere. We'll do a little test fit and get back to you.

Yes it will as long as you have OEM seats We made the mount to work on either side of the car.

If you guys can confirm that your seat-mounted extinguisher works with RZ or Spirit R seats, I may pick up one of them as well...never be too cautious with an FD

 

I didn't get to test it personally, but from what Heath was telling me the bracket will prohibit the movement of the adjustment lever. I'll confirm with him and let you know for sure.

Just got mine in the mail, looks like a very trick piece! Thank you so much SBG!

 

Just got mine installed, nice piece! The only thing I'll say is that I had to use a file to shave down the 4 holes for the quick release, the powdercoating made the holes too tight and I couldn't get the screws through.

 

God bless SBG. Got the new hatch mount in and it looks great, especially with the chrome extinguisher. Having such a high-spec extinguisher within easy reach really needs to be mandatory for all of these 20+ year old cars.
