I received my tracking monday for 2-day priority. It still shows in "Pre-Shipment" as of today. Any idea when I should expect it?

I have about 50 of these to ship out so I've been packing them and making labels, then having them, picked up by usps. Half of them already went out. Finishing up the rest. Give it a day or two and the tracking will update. It must have not been scanned at the post office yet.

 

Picked up my order from IRP the other day. These things are a work of art. I initially planned to have mine powdercoated, but the raw finish is just so nice, I may leave it alone.

You guys are on the fence, don't wait too long. These are quality, top notch pieces.

 

Have you shipped all of them out yet? I still don't have a tracking number.

If this is the initial shipment, does this count as the initial sign up? I'm just curious if those who jumped on board over the passed couple of weeks are paying the same as those of us who have been waiting for 4+ months and footed the initial bill.

Aside from that when I check my tracking number it has been stuck on 'Pre-Shipment' for more than a couple days. Hopefully it updates to something better on Monday.

 

Mine was hanging in pre-shipment for days, finally updated when it got to Atlanta yesterday. In reality it had already been in transit, just USPS sucks at scanning these packages. Yours is probably at your nearest hub already.

 

I'm hoping that's the case, they seem to be less hit and more miss. There's a couple of warm days starting to work their way into the forecast this week....I'm antsy for some garage wrenching action.

I needed 50 units to hit the price point of $225. At 25 units paid I started production, fronting the rest out of my pocket. I would have taken 100 units to drop the prices any further so it really doesn't matter. Everyone gets the same price. The additional units didn't really add more than a few days to the production time as they are all done in batches.

 

 

What method are you currently advocated for connecting a vented can, if at all? There seems to be a lot of movement lately to switch to sealed cans hooked to vacuum.

 

It really depends on how your engine bay is laid out but I usually recommend running the -10 line from the oil neck to a vented catch can.
