I'm interested in seeing what pops up on the used market when these start shipping
SInce they made 1/10th RZ's vs Spirit R's, I wouldn't expect to see many if any pop up on the used market. Plus they're much smaller 8/8.5 so they're not really apples and apples.

I meant not to detract from your wheels, they are great looking and you have done the community well with making these from scratch. I was commenting about being a circling vulture in the used wheels section to see if something interesting pops up
Well I had the privilege to go and snap some pics of the wheels with my DSLR. I reduced the image size a lot for the forum but the real deal pics have ridiculous detail that isn't seen here.
The wheels are GORGEOUS!!!!!! Sorry to tease you guys but they are near, very near from what I hear. I'm next door to them so we chat quite a bit. If they get tied up I'll try my best to chime in here and get you some play by play updates. They are still waiting on the centercaps to get air shipped over as it's a different factory making them but they are also very near. Hoping to ship both at the same time. To the other 3-4 people who might have received their sets, the caps will ship as soon as they are received.
You will likely need to bend inward the upper fender tab towards the top front of the fender liner. The only downside is that you'll have to remove the fender liner clip so the liner won't attach. My solution to this is to slide a long ziptie through some vacuum hose, to act as a sheath, and slide that through both the fender tab and the hole in the fender liner. Once that's done I bend the tab upward by hand or whatever you want to use. The sheath will mitigate the problem of the ziptie slicing through the abs fender liner.
So my detailer received the wheels, unfortunately one wheel had a chip from shipping (minor issue). They're opti-coated and tires mounted. Will upload pics when I put them on the car tomorrow (didn't receive the center caps yet).

The wheels are packed really well i'm surprised this happened. Did you see damage to the box? We could have put in a shipping claim prior to you coating them.

Caps should be coming by end of the month.
I should have asked him to do that... But it's very small so I'm not gonna stress it, I've had plenty of bad luck with my car (like scraping my brand new 99 lip on day 1), so these wheels will probably see some abuse in the NYC streets... Picking up my wheels tomorrow.
Introducing the first curb rash of the RZ+ wheels!
Totally my fault... Was in a rush to get out of a block which I turned into (had a dump truck) and reversed out as another car was also turning in.... To about being sandwiched in traffic... Thank you NYC.
Sucks! though most of us still have no word on if / when the wheels are even coming in.
Back on July 4th my buddy made a joke that my wheels wouldn't be in until Oct 8.
I laughed cause I thought that is a crazy time frame. Here we are getting very close
and he is laughing now.
Hey everyone, we wanted to provide an update: Our main Sea Freight shipment is expected to arrive in the next week, so the wheels should clear customs and start shipping out in about two weeks. Thank you everyone for your business and your support!
Our condolences go out to Billy, unfortunately whenever we open ourselves up for joy, we open ourselves to the possibility of pain. We've all been in similar situations :/
