Good question Peter. Our rear brake kit will use an extension bracket to push the caliper out.

I'm running the OEM master cylinder on my car with the brake kit and they feel great! With that said, a lot of people opt to install the 929 master cylinder when running a larger brake setup. We don't have a 929 upgrade kit currently but it's a fairly straightforward install....

The rear caliper lends itself to a 1 piece bracket ( cough cough similar to all the front caliper BBKs out there) why not have one made instead of a two piece which will likely flex and cause uneven pad wear. The oem rear kit already wears a little uneven but it's acceptable.
Instead of sarcasm you could instead acknowledge a two piece bracket design sucks and make a better than stock one piece bracket and give me a reason to buy your kit
+1 for one piece bracket. Your kit looks already looks great but as with most things there's always room for improvements and small things matter. Why not perfect it. With your fabrication skills and resources it shouldn't be hard. Just not sure if bracket design would be different for 93 and 99 rears.
Other than that, it's one of the best kids out there afaik, and the one I'm considering for when my car is track ready.

Looks like we have the answer and sometimes you have to stir pot to see what will float up when questions get ignored

Our original plan was to have a one piece slider bracket made (same as stock and RB). From a manufacturing prospective it's simply not cost effective for us to take that route, even though it would be the best option. The one piece slider bracket would have to be cast (just like stock) and the volume produced would be low. Because of this we'd have to charge an outrageous amount of money for the rear kit and no one would purchase it.
Maybe RB was able to offer a cast bracket because they work with other applications in high volume, or they had it made over seas. I'm not really sure, but we make only RX-7 parts in low volume at this time. So the next best option is to make an adapter bracket, which we have done. To ensure there isn't excessive pad taper we will be measuring flex and comparing it with the OEM brakes. We're not here to release an untested sub par product. We're working to release an excellent product at a reasonable price that people are willing to pay.
With that said the other option is to use the 99 spec rear slider bracket with a 314mm 2 piece rotor. We'll be releasing a 2 piece rotor for those who already have 99 spec brakes and are looking for replacements regardless. We can fairly easily obtain the 99 spec rear brackets and they're a one piece design.
At this time we're waiting on the new discs to show up so we can verify fitment, test and take some pictures.

Not sure which question you think was ignored, but I answered Peter.

In any case good luck with the kit and I look forward to trying your front brakes once my GT kit needs new rotors.
If my rear precision hats wear out I'll look to you guys for replaced two piece rears

The rear brake pre-sale is now live! We are in the middle of a production run for 12 kits, and are taking pre-orders starting today. The pre-sale price is reflected on our website, however as stated previously we will be giving a further discount to those purchasing our front AP Competition Front Kit at the same time (or for customers who have previously purchased our front kit, please email us with your order number -> info@sakebombgarage.com ).
