GB for Defined Autoworks AST

Many companies charge a good bit for the aluminum AST's, and we keep building them for local guys. So putting out a GB offer and see if there is a list of 10 people who would be interested. Price is $115.00 which is a good amount less than current choices on the market.

Bolts on just like factory, uses the factory lines.

Anodizing in Red, blue, green or black is available at a additional charge of $15. Everyone who wants anodizing will have to agree on the same color.

How much would it be to get one in black? How much in normal color...does it just reuse the factory cap?

If we get 10 people on the group buy then its $15 extra for black. If its on a one person deal, that one person would have to absorb the anodizing cost. Which is too expensive. It uses a standard american radiator cap which can be purchased at any auto parts store

$115 is not shipped, shipping varies by location. Usually $8-10 to ship it. With everything else going on it will take a week to get it made for you. We are insanely slammed with work at the moment

Dont get me wrong here - I'm just wondering where the $100+ is going?
It's NOT going into the weld quality or the materials.

Logan, I'm not attempting to bust anyone's ***** here - just interested in why the cost is at $100+

Pretty simple, $15 for the cap, $25 in materials, and over 1+ hour labor. Normal labor charge is $85/hr. So technically I should sell these for $140+, but put in a discount.

I need a run of 10 guys to offer it in black at a cost increase of $15. If you alone want one in black then the anodizing cost will be $70! Its done in batches, so I cant help on the single cost.
