Adjustable rear lower control arms & trailing arms
Adjustable rear lower control arms and offset trailing arms!
This lower control arm & trailing arm package will eliminate 4 of the 6 rear pillow *****, give you additional camber adjustment, and give the car a solid, more accurate rear end. The included trailing arms come with offset spacers and are adjustable inwards (3 positions) at the lower control arm to accommodate wide wheels. Very little, if any, added NVH was introduced after installing this package, along with our toe links, and is very street friendly.
SPECS:
The lower control arm is made of cold rolled DOM carbon steel with a motorsports grade spherical bearing on the spindle side and a 3 piece motorsports grade, self lubricating teflon injected rod end on the subframe side. The trailing arm body is 6061 aircraft grade aluminum with the same 3 piece rod end on the subframe/chassis side. All materials are made in the USA. We use our own products on our cars and wouldnt feel comfortable using cheap materials while out on the track. These lower control arms are not compatible with OEM or other aftermarket trailing arms.
These kits are in stock and are ready to ship!
$750 plus shipping available at www.j-auto.net
Includes a pair of rear lower control arms and a pair of trailing arms.
Combine this package with our toe links, polyurethane rear upper control arm & differential bushings for a solid rear end that won't break the bank or your teeth fillings
Below is what the original prototype looks like on my FD. The new arms are stronger and feature beefier bearings (not that the prototype was weak).

I didnt notice an increase in noise/vibrations compared to my stock arms with polyurethane bushings. The rod ends and bearings we use are high quality pieces and are very tight and smooth. Because of this, noise is kept down making these arms very street friendly.
My FD has polyurethane bushings all around, coilovers, and 18x9.5" wheels with sticky 265/35 tires on all corners. I won't lie to you and say my FD's ride quality is like a grandma's Cadillac but customers, both male and female, who've been in my car love the way it feels out on surface streets. FD's on 17" wheels will have a better/more quiet ride compared to one with 18" wheels with the same mods.

The clevis isnt an issue as the entire control arm can rotate on its bearings. I've had the prototype on my FD for some time now and havent had an issue. The final design (shown above) is much stronger than what I have on my car and has been put to the test by drifters, road racers, and torque monsters (LS1 FDs). So far I've had nothing but positive feedback
