Ok guys... we just revived this project for the 3rd Gen and got a few PMs about helping out 2nd Gens. This seems to be a product people are longing for so I have been able to lock down a source for high quality floor mats for the Mazda RX-7 and pickup the ball where JasonS left it.

The current hold up is the shields. We are in line to get them cut on the CNC - then we need to finalize anodizing.

Ok guys. We're here. It's time!



The shields have been cut and are currently being anodized. I am expecting them back next week for decking.

That means I am going to start accepting orders on mats for people that have been waiting for shields. Now, keep in mind, this is a multi-step process, so you're going to have to give me a little bit of slack when it comes to turn around time.

The process looks like this:

1) You all order the mats you want. Pick your style, color and sergeing.
2) Once the orders are compiled, I submit the order to the manufacturer.
3) After the mats are all made, they ship to me.
4) Once the mats arrive to me, I manually attach the shields.
5) After that, they ship back out to all of you.

I don't know the exact turn around time. But I'm not expecting less than three weeks.

Well, damn. I really dig that shield. But I have an unused set of Jason's mats and my car is nearly finished. But I really like that shield. Decisions.

 

Question - on the garagealpha site the color selections appear more limited than the initial list up top of this thread - is that the case or is there a way we should specify color choice other than through the cart?

 

Good point. I actually just duplicated the item page I made for FD3S and didn't add all the greys.
