i'm actually a little surprised that we don't have any 3D printers up and running here yet. i really like the aluminum and that it will outlast the car but i kinda like the look of OEM and matching styles. but i'm hesitant to buy new old stock parts, even though they're new they are still aged.

i'm digging it though.

i had plans on something similar but my idea was to slot billet aluminum grates into a plastic inlay, it would be cool to have the 2 tone effect but you probably could do the same with these and some careful painting and dremelling/sanding. next idea would be to replace the fins on the center stereo vent with aluminum to complete the effect.

Shipping might be the deal breaker for me on getting the whole set. Still may just order the corner vents - that's $21 shipping, but $64 for the set kills me....

 

Yea unfortunately shipping outside of the country exponentially increases shipping costs

Yeah, I know one other person interested. I'm in Halifax, Nova Scotia, so the Rx7 scene here is basically my group of friends. Very few nice FC's.

Sometimes I hate living in Canada....between the $1.33 I'm currently paying for every US dollar, and the shipping costs...
