For the sake of clarification, to my knowledge you will also need the tII front hub assembly, correct?

As well, do you have any pictures of the current kit? Hardware included?

Quite interested, will let you know ASAP.

Very cool that you've stepped up to make these!

A few quick notes to make everyones lives a bit easier. The 5 lug hub came on all S5's (89-91), 88 covnertable, and 86-88 GXL, basically anything that's not an S4 base model.

The 4 piston "turbo" calipers also came on a bunch of models, including the GXL, and convertable, and the front rotors are actually the same on all non S4 base model cars.

I just wanted to point that out so everyone isn't going nuts searching for the parts *only* from turboII's, and also to avoid some confusion if buying from RockAuto etc.

Thanks for clearing this up. This is a common question I've been getting and I don't have all the answers.

As far as pictures, the parts will look like "the other" kit that is common. I don't have pictures yet and don't want to post pictures that are not my kit. Once I have the parts in my hand I'll post pictures.

I want to place the order tomorrow. I know this is short notice but with a 4 week lead time, I don't want people to wait longer then necessary.

Note that you can retain the 4x114.3 pattern by using S4 4 lug hubs and redrilling the Turbo II 5 lug rotors so that they have a 4 lug pattern. This way you can use stock GSL/SE axles.

I did this on my STU race car so I could use 4 lug 15" wheels that have more advatageous offsets. I used a RE Speed kit I bought from Billy.

https://www.rx7club.com/build-thread...-992966/page4/

I can provide how-to photos regarding the rotor redrill - it is easy if you have drill press.

^^^ That's exactly a what I'm doing. Can't wait to get this kit! My front calipers are shot and I have freshly rebuild sport brakes just sitting here from my FC waiting to go on.

PM'ed you KansasCityREPU!

No problem, I don't have production numbers to back it up, but I'd be willing to bet there were more FC's with the big brakes than not.

Mustanghammer makes a good point, the 4 lug hubs will also work with this kit, and with some simple modding can still use the 4 piston calipers/bigger rotor. Makes it more budget friendly if someone already has a nice set of 4 lug wheels they want to keep.

One more thing I'll leave here, on my more recent build I went with base model FC brakes up front, and was very surprised how big they actually are when compared to the stock FB brakes. Those combined with SE rear brakes is a really good budget and street friendly setup. Just another option for you guys

This is the list of people that have placed deposits. I still have time to get orders in the next couple of day. Once these go into production I will need 10 complete (front and back) orders to do this again. We barley made it this time so next time would be even harder. I want to thank everyone that placed orders. Without the support of this group, this type of upgrade would not be possible.

1. Kameron13 (full kit + 2 spindle spacers)
2. roarinrotaryrx7 (full kit)
3. AXA (full kit)
4. ROTRY PWR (full kit)
5. sleeping-7 (full kit)

6. myfree7 (front kit)
7. Carl (front kit)
8. Tuner321 (front kit)
9. Team-Musashi (front kit)
10. HorrorBeaver (front kit)
11. aviedy1 (front kit)

12. echo412 (2 spindle spacers only)

If you mean the spacer on the hub that allows the second gen rotor to fit the answer is no. They come in the kit.

In hub spacers you mean spacers for the wheels to push them out further? From what I've read, some people need them depending on the wheel you run.

We had a few stragglers wanting kits so I wont have the kits until July 11th. If it's ok with everyone, I'd rather wait till I have the parts in my hand until I take full payment. If anyone wants to pay now that's ok but I don't need to payments right now. My PayPal username has changed so if anyone wants to pay please PM me first.

Brake lines

Ok, while KansasCityREPU is busy getting our BBKs built, I want to start talking a about the brake lines. I know the other company that built the kits used to also sale steel braded lines for them as well. I don't think stock rubber lines would work with big brake calipers as they will too short. Plus who want old rubber line? Not me.
So, please share your plans for brake lines if you've already figured out what you are going to do. Thanks

I actually went to the junkyard yesterday and picked up the front calipers off a GXL, only paid $23.50. I'm probably going to do what they did on the FC and run a short hart line and mount it to the rear of the strut tube. Then a braided line from there. If that doesn't work there are places to have braided lines custom made.
