Huge props to my guy GoodfellaFD3S.

I took my dream car, a 1993 Mazda RX-7 R1 CYM to him, to get it in perfect running order.
The car was all original. I didn't know it at the time, but it was a big project, in my opinion. Something that didn't seem to bother him though. He seemed more excited about it than anything.
He went through my new CYM, and took care of everything it needed. From vacuum lines to brake lines. He not only put this car into tip top shape, but I could tell he cares about his work.
He would give me updates and tell me what was happening as things progressed, as well as answer any question I had, no matter how ridiculous.
Also, he did little things that a normal mechanic wouldn't do. He had suggestions along the way, even if something was a cheaper option, but actually better for the car, he would be honest and let me know all the options, and what he thought was a better fit.
It wasn't all about the money, it was about getting the best parts, and doing what was best for my car.
These are just a few of the things I not only appreciated about Rich and his work, but really led me to respect him as a mechanic and a person as well.
He was very thorough and precise in everything he did.
Honesty, integrity, and passionate, are just a few of the words I would use to describe Rich and his work.

I'd had some shady dealings with other mechanics before I took my car to Rich, so I got a taste of the bad side of what's out there.
I won't name the person or shop.

My point is, I know the difference first hand on who I had to avoid, and who I wanted to trust with my dream car.

Conclusion: I am very happy with my car, and everything that Rich did. He helped make my dream come true.
I'm a very genuine person, and I was so happy with everything that Rich did, that I felt like the least I could do, is spend a little time and show my appreciation to a great mechanic and a great person.

.....(details about what was done, along with pictures, will be in an upcoming build thread)

Rich has been the go to guy for parts and knowledge for well over a decade. I have purchased multiple items through Rich and can 100% vouch for him. I have never waited longer than 48 hours from time of purchase to receive any of my items and I would highly recommend buying from Rich to other members. Buy with complete confidence.

Thanks everyone, I'm blushing over here

Greg, very glad all worked out well with your super nice low mile CYM. I treated it as I would my own car, and really tried to go through the entire engine bay and replace/upgrade all the original parts with a goal of improved performance and reliability. I appreciate your trust and your gratitude my man--- hope to see you again soon

P.S. What Greg doesn't say is that he really went the extra mile and reciprocated in a huge way, helping me prep my house for the impending Hurricane Irma for countless hours over four days. I'm talking the kind of help you would only really expect from a brother. Hell, we should post up all of our in-progress pics of learning on the go how to use hammer drills and hang mega-heavy hardie board
