zebra painted engines

zebra painted engines

why is it that pretty much all the motor's i've seen that has been painted/powdercoated are in a zebra type style? some reason you can paint the whole motor the same color? just curious

That and your trying to show off the Rotary not hide the cool sandwich design.

I think the 2-tone looks awesome! Black and red is my favorite, and if I do a rebuild those will be my colors! I've never seen a black and red engine before, but when I get my TII that will be the color scheme through out the whole car(I already got it planned out )!

How do you paint engine pieces?

I assume you have them professionally powdercoated with something very heat resistant - but how do they do just the edges and not the flat parts that touch eachother?
