Won't start, please help!!!!

Alright here is the situation. Just bought an 88 n/a. Was told that an engine swap was done sometime. The car hasn't run in a few months. So here is the problem.

The starter trys to crank but the engine won't turn over. Tried new battery, checked connections, also tried a rolling start. On the rolling start the clutch grabs and the tires squeel.

So Im wondering is it locked up? Carbon lock maybe? I not sure what to do next. I also read something about the starting pin can get jammed in the flywheel.

I have another 13b engine ready to swap but I don't want to do that unless I have to.

I'm now the rotary scene so go easy on me. Thanks.

sound like carbon lock

pull your plugs, and try to roll the engine counterclockwise for 1/8th of a turn, then try to manually turn clockwise again. if it won't move at all its either a blown apex seal, or carbon locked. carbon lock, do a search, use MMO, and or Carbon locked as the keywords. try to avoid ATF as there is some questions about its effects upon the inner O rings.
