OK.....Don't ask how I did this but I did it on accident. I put a quart of redline differential 90w oil in my motor today. The car was running when I poored it in, I imediatly realized what I did and shut off the motor. I am changing the oil tomarrow!!!! I havn't drove it or started it since this happened. Will this affect my motor in any way? My fellow rotary friend said it should be fine as long as I don't drive it. When I change the oil should I warm it up as usual or just drain without starting?

I'm an *** and I know it.

it won't hurt the motor. it might have been a better idea to drain while it was still hot, but you should be okay doing it tomorrow as you said.
