WHY do i keep taking my car back to mazda?
Ok i figured the local mazda dealer could handle this little problem. I have had a rough idle in my '91 NA for a couple months now. The car idles at about 500 pretty rough but if i rev it to 850 its as smooth as silk. An easy way ive been fixing this is just to turn on the A/C which bumps up the idle. Well i figured the cars idle just needed to tuned alittle i take it in and the guy works on it for 5 hours with me sitting in the lobby. He cant find the problem. He says its running too lean but he cant figure out why. Has anybody had these symptoms. This sucks I've now got at least a 130 dollar bill that is still running because they cant find anything. AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!! It really sucks not having a good rotary mechanic close by

Well your not alone, Mazda dealers suck. I had a coolant leak (my overflow tank had a crack) and the morons replaced my expanshion tank and most of the hoses when it wasnt necessary. Needless to say I have taken them to small claims court, I should have my money back before the end of the month $1200. To make it better when I picked up the car when they told me it was done, I payed my bill drove three miles from the shop and the car overheated , when I looked under the hood they never replaced my over flow tank ? and I had almost no coolant left .I still cant figure out how they missed that . A few choice coments form the mangaer of the dealer when I asked how they screwed this up " those cars have alot of hoses ", and this set me off he said he "I used to have a 94 rx7 and that why he drives a corvette now". What a a-hole Mazda USA wasnt to happy with his comment.Good luck and beware of Mazda dealers in northern virgina....I would trust Kooter form the Dukes Of Hazzards first
If its running lean, goto the passenger side fender, and right beside the boost sensor there is a little adjuster that has a "R <--> L on it, screw it to the "r" and your idle should raise a bit and the idle should smooth out.
Jesus christ...
These are some of the easiest ****** cars to work on yourself. I'd understand a rebuilt tranny, but can't you just buy a Haynes Manual and figure it out? lol. it might do ya some good
