who has the best soft seal kits?

I am looking at putting the ol 12a under the knife, and I realized that I am unfamiliar with soft seal technologies. I am mainly concerned with the large o-rings I seem to remember some product called vitrol. I am probably wrong though. I just don't want to do this twice.

thank you

more than likely. I has been years since I had read anything about them. Is that still the best or has technology marched along?
