white smoke at startup -evans epg ?

white smoke at startup -evans epg ?

i have 93 with a mazda reman, 1500 miles, rebuilt turbos . i ve bypassed the ast and am running evans epg. when i start the car in the morning i notice a ton of white smoke poors out . everything is new and im running the evans and im still getting a ton of white smoke at start up ... after a few minutes it goes away. the car never overheats. well im using the oem gauge and thermostat. any reason why this is happening . is this normal . engine defective ? i did notice some coolent loss, no visible leaks or over flow . please help ?

Were you the one to replace the engine or did you get it like that? If there is coolant loss than it is usually a small leak but if it is only at startup I doubt it is that bad. Try getting a pressure test on the system.

I also experienced a cloud of white smoke at start-up. Turns out my best friend and chronic pot smoker was firing up the one-hitter in the front seat.
