The apex seal is the "link" between the apexes (corners) of the rotor and the rotor housing. I am assuming you know that the engine in the RX-7 is not a standard piston engine, but a rotary engine...

Bro get an RX7!..I think they are more fun than supras. Rotary is a cool engine and it is eas to work with as oppose to the PISTon cars.

I REALLY am leaning towards the RX-7 right now. I don't want to modify my car. I prefer stock or SLIGHTLY modded just to keep the engine running better. Example removing pre-cat on rx-7 and getting better engine cooling. The supra is a great car also, but the rx-7 is soooooooo sweet expecially the 93-95

I am looking for a 93-95 Rx-7 prefer 94-95 Turbo 5-speed
or a 93.5-98 excluding 96 supra Turbo 6-speed

The 93-99 I believe are Twin Turbos Stock. I have a 89 Turbo II and stock it kicks that **** out of any mustang/camero (and the 13B in all the RX7 86-93+ are only 1.3 liter ). The 93+ are even faster. I'd suggest getting the rotary. Everything is pretty strait forward and easy.

Good Luck!

sorry to burst anyones bubble but the rx7 is far from straight forward and easy. i'm going through the process of getting a new motor and turbos and it is costing me out the ***. it took me over an hr just to change the plugs and wires. dont get me wrong...i love my FD but be prepared for expensive fixes.
