WA what do you think?

IM hoping for some GUIDANCE.I have a 79 sa. stock and ive changed THE ALT. and just bought a NEW BATT.I can drive for awhile and its OK.IF i let It sit for 2 days the battery goes DEAD.THE ALT.is Aweek OLD as well as BATTERY.I charge Batt and it good again..I am limited in ability as far as health goes ETC.Should i order a VOLTAGE REG.and assume that IF battery and ALT are good it SHOULD be THE REGULATOR?Thanks for your TIME.SCOTT

You need to do a 'parasitic draw' test,to determine what is drawing current from the car when it sits dormant.
If you place an ammeter in between the positive cable and the Battery and it shows current then you have something that is using current that should not be ON or there.
2 days and going dead is a sure sign that you have a circuit using current.
