4 spark plugs does not mean its a 4 cylinder. Go to the sticky threads at the top of teh First Gen forum and read everything there.

Your first stop should be the "How a rotary engine works" and www.howstuffworks.com

The rx-7 has a rotary engine...not a 4 cylinder or 6 cylinder...it has a triangular rotar in it that spins around...simple way of putting it. It has no pistons, connecting rods, etc....and yea take nevarmore's advice..read the stickys!

At the very least, take 15 seconds and sit back and imagine a Dorito (the red ones) spinning around in a slightly crushed Pringles can (sour cream and onion). That is the essence of a rotary engine. If you use any other flavor of Dorito or Pringles you will get it wrong.
