weird 3k rpm "stick" (doubtfully AWS)
Okay, this is rather weird. My car first started doing this once in a great while when I first got it. Now whenever i do WOT in any gear when the RPMS drop back down they wont go below 3k. I then have to put in the clutch rev it up to around 6k to get it to fall back below 3k. When I first start the car the idle seems okay, it will sit at like 1.2k (few seconds) for a little bit then drop to around 850 and stay. Now what would make it "stick" at 3k rpm after revving above 3k? Could the AWS be kicking in when its not supposed to be? It doesn't really have any hesitation, but perhaps I should just get a ground wire kit?
I've done numerous searches, and have found that a lot of stuff happens at 3k rpm on the 3rd gens, but haven't read anything similar to my problem.
Thank you for any type of help....
