Exclamation Warning lights coming on with no reason

My oil pressure light and engine heat light come on while I idle and the clutch is in on my 92 rx7, along with the battery light. This started yesterday and it probably isn't a good thing.

Anyone know what might be wrong? Not sure what more information would be helpful. I just turned the car on after leaving my gf's parents place last night and the issue started.

Thanks in advance.

I had a similar problem on an MX6, it was the alternator going. It wasn't charging at low rpm's and I think the computer was confused.

awesome... if that does end up being the case. approx how much is the part, I've replaced an alternator before so it shouldn't be that hard to do myself.

+1 alternator, if you try and touch it its probably hot as hell. And the airpump ususally kicks on and off like its broken. FD alternator from Malloy Mazda was 175. For a FC probably around $110 with the core return.

Cool, Thanks for the info.

I'll be taking it in to get serviced anyways, figure out what else may need to be replaced soon and whatnot... basic tune up kinda thing. I'll get them to confirm its the alternator before I go and blow the money.

If anyone knows a good rotary mechanic that charges fairly around the southern Alberta area, That would help me out a bit. Though this isn't the topic for that!
