V-mount intercooler piping

I am replacing the stock intercooler in my FD and i was wondering if i can use Flex-pipe instead of hard pipe. If i can, would anyone have a suggestion for the type of flex-pipe i should be looking for
Thanks

I've never seen it work out properly.

Are you in BC or WA? If you're up here there are plenty of shops I could recommend that can build you custom piping for decent prices.
