useable OR fubar intermediate housing?

I found these scratches on one side of this intermediate housing. It is ported and I would like to use it BUT I can catch my finger nail in the scratches and assume it is bad.

they are in some wierd locations on the side plate. Will these jeopardize sealing since it is not along the normal wear locations(i know, silly question)?

They are circled in red in the photos.

Thanks for your help.

If you can catch your finger nail on them they should be resurfaced. If you are in bind you could use a roloc disc and smooth down so there are no high spots on it but your side seals will ware faster.
