OK I have a bridgeported FC with FD inlet/igniters and a tonne of other goddies.. built by Hayward rotarys..

only issue is i got some new pipework through today.. and in attempting to shoehorn it all in.. have managed to snap the join on what i believe to be an expansion tank of some kind...



you can see the pipe that was connected to it (with the join still in the pipe! grrrr ) in this pic... [circled in YELLOW is where the pipe meets the housings etc]


Questions:
A: Can i run without it???? If so where does that pipe go! or do i block it off.
B: If i CANT run without it.. does anyone have a spare I can buy and then collect/have delivered etc TONIGHT/TOMORROW..
C: is there any common work arounds etc?? replacement bits/upgrades etc???
