I just bought a 86 gxl 2+2 and i want to make it faster without spending lots of money. What would make it faster for a cheap price?

Buy a dremel and port it yourself. Goto http://www.mazdarotary.net/porting.htm for details and pictures. The most expensive part would be the new gaskets (I can get mine for £100 in UK).

Oh yeah - try and get some old housings/lumps of metal to practise on first!!!
