Two thoughts...
I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this but here goes...
First of all, any transmission people here? My question is if they cryotreat brake rotors to make them stronger and last longer, is it possible and/or would it even help doing that to the gears in the tranny to help out, or would it possibly hurt them somehow? I'm not sure if it's even worth it, but it's just a thought.
Second question...what about a bridgeport engine makes it more unreliable or short lived. If you run low boost on a bridgeport the majority of the time, would it be more reliable or last longer than if you ran higher boost, or is it because the seals wear out sooner or what is the reason exactly? Is there a problem with the way the seals come so close to the extra part of the port? I just love that brap brap sound, mmm mmm good!
