turning up boost manually

how do u turn the boost up manually on 99-spec turbos?? im assuming its the same as the usdm turbos.

You have a FD and don't know how to up the boost...your fine where your at.

its either the bov or the wastegate where you can do it manually. i think its something with a spring or something. i just read it somewhere, ive never worked on cars before so dont trust me.
