Im trying to do an engine swap on my 88 vert. I know I need transmission, ecu and rear end. The engine was pulled out and its out of state. The guy in which Im buying it from is a mechanic but he doesnt know anything about rotarys neither if it came off a s4 or s5. He claims that the engine looks like new (no leaks no grease) and assumes that the engine was freshly rebuilt. My questions are how do I know the diff bt a s4 or s5? or if makes any difference? And if there is a way to test an engine that has been pulled out? Thank you

how much does the s4 rear ends cost????
cuz i wanna do a swap to from na to TII,but the place imma buy it from comes with the tranny so could i just bolt a T2 tranny to my na with no promblem?????and will it connect to my drive shaft no problem too???
