Im not sure, but that is a good question. Ill ask and get back to you on it. For now ive been adjusting them equally and together if one gets a quarter so does the other.....since you ask mabey thats not the way to go about it for optimal results, ill make some phone calls.

This morning before work I richend my mix a half turn on both and seems to run better, but I only work about a mile from my house so I havent really got to test it out. I will be testing better later today!

On Fri I played with my jets came from to lean to, too rich and then found my happy medium. Iam set at 59 prim's and 65 sec's. I think Iam set on the jets for now, Iam still looking for info on taping my air bleeds for the top of my power band. My theory is my carb is for a street rod v8 which Iam assumeing would have a red line somewhere around 5500. So I would assume the air bleeds dont supply the gas I would need for 5000 and higher? Which is where my power IS! If Iam wrong someone set me straight!

i think Im dialed in as close as Im going to get. The motor, tranny, exhaust, carb are all for sale as a package right now, (in the classifieds) Ive got a different motor that im going with,
so the 12a is on the auction block.

Im almost afraid to say on here. Now keep in mind im not ragging the rotary and Im not looking for an attack from the purists. with that said, I have aquired, and decided to go to the darkside and do the 302 conversion. Ive done all the research and its not a hard swap, (Im a pretty good wrench) the convincing factor for me was to ride in one and find out that all the talk about loss of handling due to weight is just purist talk. I saw no difference, so dollar for dollar and pound for pound, my moneys on the boinger. From the begining Ive just built this car for fun and although the rx rotary is fun the rxv8 is a blast!!
Doc.
PS to anyone else reading this, Im not looking for an argument, to be convinced to stay rotary, or even a discusion, so please dont garb up what been a good discussion and informative post between me and 813 with a bunch of BS.

Hmm, I wont argurue the point, but I dont think any car with all that weight in the front can handle anywhere near as good as a light weight rotary! It is just physics. Have fun?

See thats the difference between opinion (a belief held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowlege or proof) and Fact (something that has been objectively verified) I too was sceptical, the v8 weighs 1xx lbs more and having driven it and verified it, the opinion is no longer leaves any uncertainty!

Talking

oops what was I saying, heres a good chance for some one to buy a good running, light weight (great for handling) 12a setup cheap. some moron pulled a perfectly good engine to do a bulky v8 swap, what a retard I never was a very good salesman. lol
