info about Engine

Hi guys, i think i'll buy a turbo Fc. How can i reach 300 hp. What are the best mods?

if the engine overheats i have to replace it? Is it true?

Unluckly we don't have REAmemiya in italy...

make sure the car gets a full tuneup after you get it.

you'll probably want to start with getting a good exhaust system first, then move to getting a better intercooler.

after that it should be just a matter of turning up the boost and monitoring fuel and ignition as you do so. i'm not sure if the stock S4 or S5 turbochargers will flow enough for a solid, reliable 300 HP - so you should probably check out turbos as well.

however, before you start budgeting for a new turbo, ask around in the Gen II forum - those guys would be better suited to point you in the right direction.

welcome to the forum and good luck.

no problem ...

they're not all that nice in the Gen II forum, but don't be discouraged. you can still find ways to get around them and find answers. there is a Single-Turbo forum as well and those guys are pretty good with answering questions.

i'm at a bit of a loss for a couple of reasons. first, i don't know which car you're getting - a Series 4 or 5. and second, i don't know what the differences between the US-spec cars and European-spec cars are in terms of power.

however, you can PM me with any questions you have. if i don't have the answer, there are a few people that i can ask - and if that doesn't work, then i'll do my best to help find a direction in which to point you.
