After 2 days of the car not being able to stay on, the problem was thought to be a vacuum leak.
So I went and resealed all the gaskets, cleaned the injectors and even cleaned the throttle plates. To my understanding I have no idea whatsoever left on what happened until I saw the throttle sensor.
From what I know the throttle sensor is what detects the throttle valve opening angles and that it sends signals to the control unit.
Is there in any way that if this goes bad that it could be the source of the problem?
please help :\ I want to drive my baby again...

TP sensors will cause a surging, or searching of the idle. If the car won't stay "on," or running, then the Idle air control valve (I think Mazda called it the Bypass air control valve) is either going bad, is bad, or needs to be cleaned. Try cleaning the BAC valve first, then see if that fixed it.
Does it stay running if you keep your foot on the gas, or will it not stay running at all after getting started, no matter what?
