Sway Bar & Repairs
I have an 84 gsl-se that's sway bar is dangling. How it happened, I'm not sure. The metal just broke off on 1 side. My question is, is it safe to drive without the sway bar? (I'm going to have it just unbolted on the other side.)
Also, if you're from Bergen County NJ - Who's a reputable mechanic that I can get to work on my baby?
Thanks
EDIT:
Maybe its not the sway bar - its the bar that goes from each side behind the wheels in the front.

Airflow is my life
Behind the front wheels? The sway bar is in front of the wheels. The only thing that goes between the wheels and is behind them is the steering linkage! Which of course would be bad if it was broken. Turn the steering wheel and see if the front wheels turn. You may have a big problem.

Ok, brought it to 1 guy, he said that its the air line for the cat. converter. Sound right?
Its almost straight but is slightly "v" shaped. hollow pipe, its not behind the wheels, its about 3/5 of the way in.
