im not sure where to buy an pre-made adapter...if there are any. im gonna assume it is goin to have to be custom made.

out of curiosity... why do you want to use the non-turbo supra trans?

+1 to why are you using a non-turbo supra trans?

I'd came in here expecting this to be about trying to make a 6sp FD...

Has anyone ever done it? I've looked up posts but only found people that wondered about it too. Haven't seen anyone with it yet.

try the 20B forum because i know of guys using helical cut gears in the 6-speeds attached to some monster HP 20B's. pretty sure there will be alot of work involved. including custom ****

At Kiwi-RE they have a supra gearbox adaptor, though it doesn't explain what it really is, or which supra transmission it would be for.... my guess is the getrag 6-spd from the MKIV's. Here is the link: http://www.kiwi-re.com/wwd_showroom_cat3_8.php

Well... its going in a Sr5 hachi, auto. the crossmember and drive shaft is supposed to match up to the w58 as well as the shifter hole. I would have gone 20v 4age black top. but i figured since i had most of the parts on hand, plus the fact that i wouldnt have to Find/swap all the gts parts such as gas tank, fuel lines transmission and etc... I'm going for a carb set up in the 13b so i wouldnt need to convert the chassis to fuel injection. In the end i figured it wold only be more reliable, rev happy ,and more powerfull... Not to mention I'm a rotor head.

So... custom only?

The Kiwi Supra adaptor is for the W series gearbox to fit the early bellhousing and the series 4/5 bellhousing. Sounds like it'll be perfect for your application Monkeypainter808.

Wow, Thanks. Ima have kiwi conferm this. and my project is on the way once agien. So are you saying that i have to use the s5/s4 bell housing? as in Trans/adapter/bell housing, or i just use the adapter on the w58 bell housing and bolt it to the 13b?

No need to. What I posted above was a direct quote from Kiwi themselves. I don't post heresay

That would be a question/clarification best posed directly to them. kiwi-re@kiwi-re.com
