Stripped Screw

I was working on my 87 FC and I realized that i needed to change the coolant. So I put the car on some ramps and started to begin the drain process. But to my dismay i realized that the drain plug on the radiatior was stripped. The screw is plastic and I am having lots of difficulty getting it off. What is the easiest way to remove the screw without having to get a whole new radiatior. Any sugestions or advice is highly appreciated.
Thanks

You can probably order a new drain plug.

Did someone over-tighten it or something? It

How far have you gotten it worked out? Maybe you can grab hold of a couple threads with some pliars.

Thanks for your help but I already solved the problem. What I did was heat up a flathead screwdriver, which was larger than the stripped part, with blow torch. Once heated the screwdriver slide in like butter and made a nice new slot for it to fit. Once this was done is was a peice of cake to get the screw in and out. I would reccomend this method for any similar plastic screw problems.
Thanks
