TN streetport vs. bridgeport im confused on the two

ok so i own a 74 dodge charger sorry no rotary yet but i wanta buy a fd in like a year or two and i wanta take my time and do the research..lately ive been reading about tuning, supporting mods, single vs twin etc. My question is what exactly is a streetport and a bridgeport? which one is better for a daily driver? price comparison? are there any templates or threads i can read on the two etc. I head that streetport is better for low end power so its best for a street car and a bridgeport is better for top end and better for racing if thats the case why do i see so many bridgeported rx7s? my goal in the next 2-3 years is to build myself a reliable fd with around 400hp using a gt35r becuase of spooling capabilities. i prefer something quick with good low end power. with my charger and its 440 bb it got plenty of get up but i always wanted a fd so if u can help explain to me the difference between a streetport and bridgeport that would be helpful....

since you want a gt35, and 400hp, that basically means a streetport.

gt35 is a great quick spooling street turbo. 400hp is no problem. bridgeport is for people who are looking for more than 600hp....

A bridgeport has a eyebrow for the corner seal to pass over while allowing more air to be pulled into the motor from the other side of the corner seal. A streetport advances the port timing which moves the torque curve further up the rpm range.

Pretty much, you want to make the ports on the motor go from
STOCK:

Please keep in mind, you don't want your port to look EXACTLY like this as this one is what I would call "the lean". Notice at the top of the port, instead of being ported all the way to the back of the iron, its got a little lean coming into the combustion chamber. As far as I'm concerned, for the time you'll spend doing it, this does nothing but make your motor sound mean.
STREETPORT:

In a bridgeport, the motor is made for racing. Your idle is going to be roughly around 1500-2000 depending on the size of the bridge. Keep in mind your driveability and gas mileage will be hindered depeding on the size of the port.
BRIDGEPORT:

I would save my money for food and clothes if I lived in the US right now.

The fd is a great car, and can be a great commuter car if you take care of it and do all the precautionary maintenance. Let me know when you are serious about looking for one, I think I can help you find a couple
