Stock FD. What mods/how?

Ok.... Just bought a 93 RX7 with a BOV and Exhaust. 103,000 miles on it and a original motor. What mods can be done without risking longevity too much? How much boost is safe?

A radiator would be pretty good mod.

But you could get away with an intake, intercooler, vac hose job, and maybe a downpipe. After that you need a computer to ensure adequate fuel.

The first mods I did were an M2 AST elimination kit, zip tied the vac hoses, and a Mazda Comp Radiator. Reliability is key, especially if you have 103k on the cars first engine.

Wasn't this the same guy that flamed Rx-7s after posting his kill about how his dsm beat one. yeah you need to focus mostly on reliability mods first. CWR dual oil coolers etc etc. AST.

103K on the original motor? Compression check, drive it until the motor blows, then worry about mods.

i would do the same thing. i would not worry about any reliability mods or silicon vaccum hoses. just save your money for when the time comes.
