front..
this is my first rebuild..
unsure if this is normal but it certainly looks like wear to me..

It's normal.
I've seen stat gears with those flaws before.
Check the gear contact area in between the teeth and make sure there's no sign of damage.
Those edges have nothing to do with the contact area.

no damage throught contact areas...
unsure about reusin em with these flaws..
