hey guys, so i've searched for hours and found a bunch of issues and don't know which one to believe

so after replacing o rings in lower exh. manifold, put upperintakemanifald and others back together, checked vacuum linesx2...

my car starts, ignites, goes to 1k~1.5k, then dies(gassing the pedal has no effect) ! But then if starter fluid is sprayed into the car it stays and idles, but throttle still will not work also

what is going on? i smell fuel though so fuel pump should be working.

My car is an s4 88 10thae

 

is there anyway to check your fuel pressure? sounds like you are getting just enough fuel to start but not enough to keep it running. something tells me that it dies faster when u give it gas
