starting help!
i just got an 88 turbo 2. it starts good when its cold out. but it doesn't start in warm weather i finally got it to start but when it warmed up it quit. it has no power. when attemting to start it has an *** load of white smoke comming out of the tail pipes. it smells like it's got old fuel in her. i'm new to the rotory scene so don't rule out dumb ****. i haven't checked compression and i am getting fuel and spark. oil pressure is normal. i have a feeling i'm either into rebuilding or swapin a new motor. lemme know what you guys think.

I would start with changing the fuel, but I dont think that explains the smoke. You need to check compression search to find the proper way to check compression. that year engine the rear rotor is most likely to lose compression for some reason. Lack of power and hard start are typical symptoms of low compression. Is it automatic?
