Solid dowel pin & External oil mod

I’ve been trying to do research and just learn more about this but I’m having trouble finding information with pictures to visualize a little better. When you switch to solid dowel pins you have to do an external oil mod to get oil to the front iron from a oil pedestal (please correct me if im wrong). Is this all you need to do when switching to solid dowel pins? And does anyone have any pictures of this being done/what fittings & line did you use to route the oil?

use the search function. lots of good info here.
Some advice...do not use a npt fitting in the front iron. you risk cracking the hole.
