i have a 1984 gsl-se. i just bought a second gen motor that was street ported and polished. after i got everything back together, i found that the engine will smoke badly. but it wont smoke under accel. when i let it idle or decelerate it will smoke. it's not oil smoke, it's water or coolent.
does anybody have any ideas what it could be. it is turbo charged and my last motor did not smoke with this setup.

 

You sure your turbo is in good shape?
